The Brand Story
Not every brand starts with a business plan. WIA started with a problem worth solving.
In rural Turkey, thousands of women possess extraordinary skills — bamboo weaving handed down through families in Çanakkale, raffia knitting practiced across Bursa, Mardin, Sakarya, and Rize — yet had no real pathway to turn that mastery into a sustainable livelihood. WIA was built to change that. Founded in 2020, we set out to connect women artisans directly with a global audience that values what their hands create.
Every bag, hat, scarf, and charm in our collection is entirely handmade. No factories. No shortcuts. Each piece carries the fingerprints, the patience, and the pride of the woman who made it. When you wear WIA, you are wearing someone's craft, someone's income, someone's independence.

Thoughtful Packaging, Designed for Impact
Our packaging reflects the same values that shape every WIA creation. Designed to be reusable and long-lasting, our tote bags replace disposable alternatives and encourage mindful consumption. Each detail is carefully considered to minimize waste and extend the life of what you carry.
By choosing functional, eco-conscious packaging, we make sustainability part of the everyday experience. So the values behind WIA live not only in our products, but also in how it reaches you.
