Empowering Women, Honoring Craftsmanship

At WIA, sustainability is at the heart of everything we do. Our commitment goes beyond the materials we use—it extends to the communities we support and the women artisans who bring our collections to life.

Handcrafted by skilled women across Turkey—from the coastal towns of Çanakkale to the remote villages of Anatolia—each WIA piece is a testament to the power of artisanal craftsmanship and natural materials. These talented women, with generations of knowledge and skill, create unique designs that reflect dedication, artistry, and a deep respect for the environment.

Materials We Use

Natural Bamboo Weaving: A Tradition in Çanakkale

In the Çanakkale region, artisans skillfully weave bamboo into intricate designs, creating strong yet elegant bags. This renewable, sustainable material is ethically sourced, reducing environmental impact while supporting local craftsmanship.

100% Raffia Knitting: Crafted all-over Turkey

The second part of our summer production revolves around locally sourced knitting of Raffia. It is crafted by hand in over 4 regions of Turkey, including - Bursa, Mardin, Sakarya, Rize.
