Description
A collar necklace that works like a woven textile — diamond and cross motifs built directly from kilim weaving grids, translated bead by bead into beadwork.
The piece fans outward from the neck and drapes flat against the chest and shoulders, sitting on the body the way a section of kilim sits against a surface. The copper bead edging marks the outer border.
Each necklace is handwoven and carries the natural irregularities of the making process.
